Meh. Almost finals week, have a bunch of long-term projects I haven't worked on that are almost due. Have no idea if I'll pass the classes due to the people in charge adding a writing requirement to all G.E. classes for no apparent reason... Mrg.

1) There'z maybe three people on my LJ f-list who, frankly, I can't remember who they are or how we met...who da frick ARE you?
A few months ago, you happened to read the webcomic "Ozy and Millie", you joined the forum for said comic. I was one of the quieter members of it and you decided to allow the friend request here. If you're asking who I am, well, that's explained in my profile, just a fairly normal guy... Kind of.
2) If you had to pick one out of the ROYGBIV set of rainbow colors for your skin to become, which would you pick and why? We're not talking a tinge in the flesh, we're talkin' the full-on technolor, like an Oompa-Loompa.
I would choose fuligin, the color darker than black ((Yay, scifi books)). Why? Just to mess with people at night and in the dark. And if you want one of the traditional colours, well, I don't really know.
3) Tell me your favorite food and, if it's different, which food you be willing to be enchanted into tasting FOREVER, no matter what you tried to eat.
Rice. Yay, rice. As for taste, I'd choose a good popcorn.
4) Which do you prefer to have as companions, dogs or cats, and why?
Cats, they're easier for me to deal with in my way. They don't mind being ignored... Much.
5) Does this LJ entry make my butt look big?
No.

Tomorrow is the last day of Thanksgiving Break. Been a pretty average one, went to grandmother's house for Thanksgiving as usual, went to The Tech Museum in San Jose on Friday, got the Christmas tree today. Tomorrow, going back to college. Yep. Nothing of any real interest, just feel like updating this and showing the picture I got with the thermal camera at The Tech.

Very boring weekend. And it's Thanksgiving week once again, so it will probably continue to be a boring week... Yep.

Nothing of any real note to post about. Got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness. It's the same as the earlier mystery dungeon games, still fun. Still managing to get passing grades on college tests without bothering to study, so that's good.
Oh, and last night I had a weird dream/nightmare involving zombies, a giant tower, and some other stuff. It's... reminicient of some earlier dreams, although there aren't that many different types of zombie-dreams one can have... Anyway. That dream led to me waking up at five a.m., before managing to fall asleep again, but that made it so I didn't wake up in time for my eight a.m. geography class. Yep, zombies made it so I missed my geography class.
Think that's it... Oh, and a virtual cookie to anyone who gets where I got this avatar from.

Feeling better for no real reason. Will probably go back to that in a few days/weeks, but don't feel like leaving that last entry as the last one up.

Meh. This year I seem to have gotten to the "Highly stressed and feel like killing someone" phase earlier than usual. Last year it started around the end of October, after the economics teacher got back from medical leave. This year, been going on since before my birthday back in September, although I don't have one teacher to focus it on, as I did last year. This year it's just a combination of various stupid things, such as the state's discision to make it so ALL general education classes have a writing requirement. All of them. Even the recreational ones, like bowling and archery. Mostly though, it's history class. History class, in which I haven't learnt anything since elementary school. History class, in which the last one I got an A+ without ever paying attention or studying. History class, the class which this year, I cannot do the homework to to technical problems.
...
Meh.

College is going as I expected. Music is easy, Science I'm actually sort of learning, and bowling is quite fun. But, those are just my Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes... Tuesday and Thursday, I have to get up at seven to go to geography class, then I have a five hour wait until government, followed immediatily by history. Geography is, suprisingly, ok, despite the time I have to get up. Government isn't fun, but then, it's government. History, history class I loath. We've been in class for over a month now, still haven't learned anything. And of course, we passed the date we can drop classes without penalty. Eh.

Less than a week until birthday. Wooh.
Went and saw Ponyo today. Here's my short critique of it.
-------
It is cute, odd, and as confusing as some other Japanese movies. Art is as good as Ghibli studios usually does. It somehow manages to not have an antagonist but still have conflict. Ending is a bit lame, story is kind of predictable, but still an enjoyable movie. So, not as good in my opinion as some (Most) of Studio Ghibli's other works, but still reasonably good.

Still don't have enough classes, haven't been able to have a D&D game in a week, and the temp is still in the 90s. Still have to get books for the classes I didn't want in the first place, blah blah blah blah blah. Only real good news is I've semi-adjusted from Salinas weather to Fresno weather.

Grandfather died two days ago, apparently. I would be upset, but... Didn't really know him. Anyway, funeral is apparently next weekend, that'll be annoying. Oh well.
I am now officially moved in to the dorm at CSU Fresno. Most of the stuff is unpacked, my hand-me-down computer can't get internet so I'm using Navier's computer until my older brother can figure out what's wrong with it. Still as hot as I expected here. Woooooh, 97.6 F.
Went to a surprise "Going away to college" party today for my friend Stephanie. Had balloons, snacks, hamburgers, games, and a pinata. Was great fun, I managed to pop quite a few balloons single handily (Literally) as well as, after the little kids all had a go at the Strawberry Shortcake pinata, hit it hard enough to make both it's legs fly off... Good times.

Beat Chrono Trigger (For the DS) yesterday. Finished the New Game+ today. Beat Lavos with only two people as well. And my people are only at level 65. If I bothered leveling them up to 99... Well, their magic and health are at the max already, wouldn't make much difference.

Bored... Haven't updated this in a while... So... Was going to do a rant/stream of consciousness, but I forgot what I was going to to do it about. Now...
Random thing then... Do you have to "Come out" about being an asexual?

Fresno was hot. 116 degrees for someone used to a place where 70 is hot.

It's interesting. Of the... Six (non-related) females whose names I can actually remember: One I hate, one is an aquantance, one is a good friend, one is on online friend, one is online aquantance, and one is my oldest friend. That oldest friend has so far been the only female I was at all interested in possibly courting. But, they ended up being a lesbian and moved to Oregon. And the only other female friend I have (Not counting those on the internet) is in a "Are we in a relationship or not?" sort of thing with my brother. Neither of them really know. Anyway... Just posting because I haven't in a week.
